Don't Assume

Thanks to the comments and suggestion on my last post. Yeah I think CJ gave me enough to keep me busy with a few post, LOL thanks! I will start on those probably Monday. I think today’s is going to deal with something a bit different. I am not much for drama and try to avoid it. But one way or another it finds me. Sometimes there are issues or situations I do what I can to avoid knowing they will lead to drama. I see the bowl filled with it and I think, no way, I am avoiding that, can’t be good. Some way or another, I end up right in the middle of it wondering how the hell I got there. Sometimes it affects things in your life or in others even if it was not the intent. I don’t go around looking for ways to hurt anyone. It would be nice that everyone stays happy. But when things happen, sometimes it is inevitable. I also see people in crazy situations and know that there is a story from every side, not just one. A friend tells me her ex wants her to move in with her, she does so she can be with her daughters because she couldn’t where she was living, plus she had already co-signed on the lease. She later tells me she was mad at her ex for whatever it was and kicked her out. Should I automatically take her side? I have no idea what really happened or her ex’s side. I talk to her, calm her down but know I can't hate on her ex too. I will be there to help a friend and talk to them, but remember, I am told what they want me to hear. It may be the complete truth but not the whole story. Life happens, shit happens and you never know when or where it is going to happen.

I feel a big part of life is also being accountable for your actions. Lots of times I see people blaming others for a situation and yet they takes no ownership of it at all. It's like "hello?" Unless a gun was being held to my head, I can make my own decisions and own the outcome.

And yes, there are always two sides to a story too. It's whether or not it's worth it to find out, most of the time it's not anyone else's business.

I agree. Sometimes things happen even if you don't want it but still everyones fault invovled.
